The Japanese brunch here is absolutely delicious, and the drinks are creative and unique — definitely worth trying! The only downside is the long wait; we queued for about an hour before getting a table. The place is quite small, so hopefully they can expand in the future to accommodate more customers. Overall, a great spot if you don’t mind waiting!

Enjoyed a Japanese-style brunch here: tasty flavors, decent portion size, and fair pricing. Great value overall. Even my parents, who usually prefer Chinese cuisine, found it quite acceptable. We parked easily in a nearby laneway.

Absolutely local gem, really liked this spot. Super popular so be prepared for a wait. We tried the ▪Grilled Salmon Chazuke - $27.50 ▪Chicken Karaage Don -$24 ▪Garlic Cream Cheese Bread -$15 ▫Matcha cloud -$8 ▫Mont Blanc -$7.50 The highlights were the main dishes, super flavourful, generous portion and surprisingly very filling. Very comforting and delicious. Highly recommend the salmon chazuke- and heard the chicken rice was also just as good. Unfortunately found the cheese bread too creamy and heavy, too overpowering for my liking- but I saw the tables around us order the corn cheese one which looked more balanced- so might have to try that might time! The coffee was just ok, but would return for the main dishes- super tasty and loved the neat, colourful and clean presentation. Had a great experience- we also ordered a takeaway unagi and egg don which was just as fantastic!!

The food was good, presented nicely and instagramable. The service was good. The chicken katsu was nice and crispy and juicy and the miso soup was nice. The mont blanc was creamy and coffee was blended well I also liked the matcha cloud with coconut water very refreshing. The cons was there was a hair on the table and saw some hair on the seats so some better cleaning could be good. Also not enough miso flavour on the chicken miso katsu. The cream cheese garlic bread had way too much mayonnaise and the corn one looked better so would probably recommend people to get that instead. Overall, a nice place to try and if you want aesthetic instagram photos or craving Japanese. If I went back I would get the don sets, the salmon was also nice as it was cooked nicely and the soup very umami yet subtle and hot the flavours blended well and would maybe come back to try the corn bread. Not recommend cream cheese bread. The onigiri was nicely presented but didn’t look like it was worth the price as the toppings only were not in the rice itself, it was mainly just rice. Overall, 3.5-4 stars. Also recommend coming early so you don’t have to wait for a seat as when we left there were people already waiting. Service was good for the most part. Friendly.

I ordered the Niku Jaga and the Scotch Steak as teishoku, both dishes were cooked beautifully. I also tried the Matcha Mont Blanc, which was smooth and well-balanced. Great food, friendly service, and a cozy atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit!

Amazing cafe with delicious Japanese food! We came here around 10:30 am on a Saturday, the restaurant was packed with people. Luckily we got a table near the door. The onigiri lunch set caught my attention, as well as their Mont Blanc coffee. My partner ordered their chicken karage lunch set. Our food arrived in about 15 minutes, I liked the presentation and started eating my onigiris. The lunch set included three ypes of onigiri, chicken karage, salmon, and unagi. The multigrain rice was cooked perfectly, all the meat was well-balanced and packed with flavours. I particularly enjoyed the chicken karages, they were juicy, fresh, and beautifully seasoned. It might be one of the best chicken karage I’ve ever had in Melbourne! Their sides were also tasty, the ontama egg was soft and tender, which went really well with the rice. Their Mont Blanc coffee was exceptional. It had a base of black coffee, a generous layer of rich, velvety cream, and a sprinkle of orange zest and cinnamon powder. I enjoyed its balanced sweetness and creamy texture! Their service was also great, they offered free sparkling water for people to drink. However, it is a small but popular shop, I would recommend to come here on weekdays or early in the morning on weekends to avoid long queues.

Had a great experience here! We tried the wagyu set and the salmon set — both were fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The wagyu was super tender and just melted in the mouth, and the salmon set came with a nice variety of sides that balanced everything out. We also added fries and a cream cheese bun — surprisingly good combo! The fries were crispy and the bun had just the right touch of sweetness. For drinks, we had the yuzu soda and melon soda — refreshing and fun, especially the melon one which brought back childhood vibes. The place was quite busy and there was a short wait, but it was definitely worth it. Would recommend if you’re after a satisfying Japanese-style meal!
